Around 1643 hours Truck 14 was dispatched to 7104 Hanover Parkway for the apartment fire with one trapped.  Units from West Lanham arrived on the scene and advised that they had fire showing from the second floor of a three story garden apartment.  Truck 14 and Volunteer Chief 14A (McCoy) arrived shortly with 8 men and went to work.  A task force was requested and command gave 14A Division 1 Interior.  As the truck crew opened up the fire floor and the roof team opened the roof, the entry crew searched and assisted with extinguishment.  The fire was quickly knocked and all searches were negative.  Units returned to service in under 2 hours.
